Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Deck is second to none. Female manager needs a lesson on politeness though.

One of my favorite visits. The staff is excellent and very personable. The food is excellent and the drink selection is outstanding. Ryan's Wake has a warm cozy interior along with a large beautiful deck overlooking the Hudson River.

Go here! I've been in the past (like 5-10 years) but the place has doubled in size since. You should go here for the view and outdoor/ alfresco seating. My husband and I came for a drink. He got a dirty martini and I got an espresso martini. Both strong and delicious and we could pick our own seating in the sunshine. I'll definitely be back and get dinner next time. Great vibe and location!

We stopped here on a road trip to NH and will probably stop on the way back. We were greeted by the friendly owner who made sure we were happy with our seating choice. There's a great outside river view and a cozy bar inside. My martini was made just right and the steak salad and salmon dinner was delicious! Service was spot on, no complaints at all. Can't go wrong here

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, friendly and excellent service, great drinks. Fantastic indoor and outdoor seating. Traditional Irish bar with beautiful woodwork on the inside, fantastic patio overlooking the river on the outside. Phenomenal food and drink at a great price. WARNING: the hot pepper garnish on the spicy margarita will make you breathe fire.

There are so many good things to write about Ryan's Wake. Let's start with staff. Since Chris Ryan opened his unique, meticulous and perfectly organized restaurant, there has been little-to-no staff turnover. They are attentive, personable and have a great attitude. The food is really good and there is an ample variety of libation available. Plenty selection of beer, wine and spirits! The interior is a must-see and exterior is must-visit, especially in the warmer months. Chris Ryan knows how to run a bar/restaurant. He has a genuine concern for customers, staff and the community. He greets everyone with appreciation and gratitude. I have written very few restaurant/bar recommendations. This is an exception. I encourage going to Ryan's Wake and enjoying good food, a relaxed atmosphere, a variety of drinks, dedicated servers and certainly,...meet the proud owner! Ryan's Wake is a gem in awesome Downtown Troy!
